II.The Bedroom

Cedar, art, and the old thickness of riad walls

A king bed beneath hand-carved cedar, a curated wardrobe behind a traditional wooden door, two reading chairs by the window. Air conditioning and blackout curtains keep the room cool through the afternoon heat.

III. The Bathroom

Through the carved arch

A hand-carved arched door leads into the bathroom — one of the most photographed features of the riad. Beyond it, tadelakt plaster walls, a rain shower, and hand-cut zellige. Brass fixtures, soft lighting. The detail is in the doing.

IV.The Balcony

Where the Médina lives its day

Open the shutters and the old city is right there. Market stalls below, minarets in the distance, the constant hum of a place that never really pauses. A quiet corner for morning coffee, or a glass of wine as the light fades.

V.Room details

Two rooms, one feeling

Atlas and Ambar share the same craftsmanship — hand-carved cedar, tadelakt plaster, hand-cut zellige — but take those shared bones in different directions. Atlas leans warm: deep wood, soft reds, crane paintings over the bed. Ambar leans cool: blue accents, a horse painting, two chairs by the balcony. Either way, the work of the same artisans, over the same two years.
